Cathal Boylan MLA
Cathal Boylan has served as a Sinn Féin elected representative since 2005 when he joined Armagh City and District Council as a Crossmore Councillor. Since being elected MLA for Newry Armagh in 2007, lifelong Keady resident, Cathal, has become an integral part of the Sinn Féin team.
Cathal currently sits on the Assembly’s Environment Committee and his main body of work at present is overseeing the introduction of the Review of Public Administration (RPA) which will see the North’s 26 District Councils reduced to 11. Cathal is Sinn Féin spokesperson on RPA, Local Planning and Road Safety.
Through his constituency office in Armagh city Cathal has helped the public with various issues, among them, planning, benefits, housing, education and health concerns.
