In 2012 at the age of 20 Dromintee born Megan Fearon was selected to represent Sinn Féin in the Assembly.  As the youngest public representative in Ireland Megan brings a fresh approach to local politics and she has a keen understanding of the major issues of unemployment and emigration which are affecting her peers at this time.

Prior to joining the Assembly team Megan studied Politics, Philosophy and Economics at Queen’s University Belfast where she was an active member of the Sheena Campbell Cumann, holding the position of chair for one year.

In the Assembly Megan sits on the OFMdFM and Finance Committees and she also represents the Assembly on the European Union Committee of the Regions in Brussels.
